Build Depot is proud to announce a new partnership with Ardgowan Hospice, a vital resource for people in Inverclyde who are living with life-limiting illnesses.
Ardgowan Hospice, based on Nelson Street in Greenock, are an independent local charity who provide free support to people in Inverclyde who are living with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, heart failure, lung disease, kidney failure or neurological conditions. They rely on fundraising and donations to allow them to provide patients with personalised 1:1 care from the moment they are diagnosed until the end of life.
This exciting collaboration aims to support the hospice's mission of providing compassionate care and essential services to patients and their families.
Throughout the year, Build Depot will make a direct donation to Ardgowan Hospice for every bulk bag sold. This means that with every home improvement project undertaken by their customers, they'll be helping to build a brighter future for those facing challenging times.
For Mark Rodger, Build Depot's Managing Director, this partnership is personal. "We're more than just a building materials supplier," he says. "We've been part of the Greenock community for over 70 years, and we believe in supporting the organisations that make our town a stronger place. Ardgowan Hospice provided amazing and invaluable care to my grandfather when he needed it most around 20 years ago, and we're honoured to be able to say thank you, and support them and their work through this partnership."
